Ok so anyways, I know I haven't been updating properly for a very long time, well basically I had exams and then followed by my internship thus the lack of time for updates, or maybe I was just lazy
Exams was pretty much a hellish period for me, and I'm sooo not looking forward to getting back my results cause I swear I'm damn scared that I might forward module :s
Well moving on... I started internship for about 2 weeks till date, and I'm currently interning at Aesthetics Marketing Asia; basically a company that deals with aesthetics machines such as those that you'll normally see at spas and what not, as well as certain pharmaceutical products. I was so damned over not being able to get the internship jobs that I really wanted cause I did decide to try out and source on my own at the very last minute, I swear I had shitty luck. And as for the current company I working for now, this wasn't my first choice either; my first choice (amongst the designated list) was a japanese skincare company, but I heard they backed out the very last min :( #whatshitluckIhave
So basically I'm a marketing intern at my current job, like on the very first day, we were split into teams of 2 and le boss just threw us 2 different products for each group to be in charge of the marketing proposal. Its like doing marketing project all over again, but much more in-depth because we are suppose to really treat this as our own business, and must liaise with the relevant PR companies, work out the budget and sales figures and all that blah. Honestly this wasn't what I was expecting; I thought we will be more of working under a supervisor that could bring us through step by step, so its like we can learn as it progress, instead of just being thrown into the deep end and learning how to stay afloat. But anyways I shan't complain too much in case my boss sees this (nah just joking), more of like at least the interns here have more freedom on the job since its like project work, and we can go out and do field study or conduct survey so the system isn't so rigid. Oh but how I wish I could do work from home though cause it takes me like a freaking 1h30mins just to travel to work everyday! Rawrrr

I actually cooked a week's portion of it, wasted soooooooo much time, but in the end my "diet" only lasted for like a day, cause it was so troublesome warming and preparing the food in the frigging morning without being late for work.

I think through this internship, I've FINALLY realised how lucky it is to be a student, or maybe just what I do not like about a job. I know for sure I'm not someone that can work in a very rigid environment, I don't want to work in a confined environment whereby all you do is to stare at a computer screen and stay at your desk the whole day.
Hopefully I can work in a place that's very free and easy, promotes creative thinking and flexible. Thinking wayyyy ahead of time again but who doesn't wanna work in a company that focuses on workers' welfare? (aka Google)
Okie that's all for now, and I think I would be able to update more regularly cause some days my work is pretty slack.
4 more weeks till the end of internship: YAY!
